Day 2--God is my compass.

“God has had a tremendous impact on who I have become and how I live life in high school.  If I didn’t have God with me I’m sure I wouldn’t have the same great friends as I do now.  I wouldn’t have a great relationship with my parents, and I would have gotten into a lot of trouble.  Having God with me has kept my life on track.”  --Kirby K.

Every day is full of choices, from what clothes we put on in the morning to what TV show we watch at night.  Sometimes the choices are easy.  “Of course I’ll have another bowl of Frosted Flakes!”  Some not so much.  “My friend wants me to do what?  Go where?  Hang out with who?”

Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.  Psalm 119:105

There’s no greater guide than God.  He is the ultimate compass.  His love for us surrounds us where we are (“my feet”) and gives us direction for where we need to go (“my path”).

Make God a part of ALL of your choices today, from the smallest to the biggest.  Invite the Holy Spirit to guide you in everything you do.  You won’t be sorry.
