Day 10--God's an action kind of guy.

"God has worked in my life by putting me in situations where He allows me to spread His word and live out my Christian faith.  God has given me the opportunity to go on mission trips and summer camps where I could go spend a few days really getting to know Him and once I leave, I leave a changed person and renewed."  –Hunter D.

Does it please God when you read the Bible?  Absolutely.  Go to church?  You bet.  Pray?  Of course!  But I believe nothing pleases God more than when you put the good stuff that comes out of the things into action.  Don’t just talk the talk...walk the walk!  After Jesus rose from the dead, and before He ascended into heaven, He told the disciples… 

“Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit” Matthew 28:19

In other words, go!  Do!  In the name of Jesus Christ get out there! 

We can give God the opportunity to change the world through us and change our hearts in the process when we are willing to act on His behalf.  Even if it’s just sitting with the lonely kid at lunch or donating a can of food to a food drive, get out there and be Christ to the world. 

What kind of action can you take today to spread God’s love at your school?  At your workplace?  In your neighborhood? In your home?
